Today’s post is inspired by the ‘GQ Style’ and believe it or not, this is my favorite dress style. It gives  me that gentleman look that I am really…..

In this post I’ve put together a blue suit, an overcoat, a brown oxford lace  up shoe and accessories to give the look a little more definition.

I might have mentioned this before but I’ll like to dress up in suit on a daily basis. I like looking dapper, not everyday street wear. The look inspiration was from Barney Stinson from the TV show ‘How I Met Your Mother’. Barney makes dressing up in suit so easy and it goes to show that suits can be worn in both formal and informal setting. I got the pictured suit from River Island, very affordable and it comes in different colours so watch the space…

Oxfords are plain formal shoes made from leather and is a most have in a man’s shoe collection. They can be worn for both formal and informal setting. Based on the constant change in fashion, Oxfords can now be found in other materials other than leather, they now come in suede, patent leather and canvas.

In this post, I’ve gone for a brown Oxford lace up which compliments the brown overcoat as seen in the picture.

When it comes to accessories, the options are endless. From a nice classic watch to a warming cashmere scarf, cuff-links, smart bow tie or normal tie etc. Accessories give an instant upgrade to ones look. That is why in this post, I’ve gone for a  blue scarf and tie and my signature eye wear. Can’t get any better than that..
